Cannas bring a touch of the tropics to wherever they are planted. These exotic looking plants are indispensable for a splendid summer border bursting with drama. Makes a great centerpiece in bedding schemes and large containers. As soon as a stalk has finished blooming, remove it and a new one will take its place. If faded flowers are not removed, seeds will form and flowering will cease. 

This Red & White Giant Dahlia has striking, red flowers that are tipped in white and quickly becomes a big and bold statement for the late summer garden. This Dahlia has very large 6-8" blooms. Dahlia make a great long-stemmed cut flower!

Dahlias are a tender perennial that are vigorous and fast growing. Bulbs must be lifted from the ground in zones 7 and lower. Outstanding addition to the flower border or container garden. An old fashioned favorite and superb cut flower. Flowers bloom the first year and add a lovely spot of color in the garden. Heat resistant. Your Dahlias will bloom from mid-summer until frost. They are a welcome addition to the garden late in the season when other flowers are fading and are long lasting cut flowers. 

Caladium 'White' is a fancy large leafed white, caladium with pronounced dark green veining. Caladium leaves are combinations of red, pink, green and/or white, with colored midribs and contrasting backgrounds and borders. The varied leaf colors and patterns create many uses for caladiums in the landscape.

Caladiums are hardy only to Zone 10 (30°F), and the tubers can be dug and stored indoors in colder climates. When the foliage yellows and droops in fall, lift the tubers with the foliage still attached, clean them of excess soil, and allow them to air-dry in a warm, sunny location. When the foliage breaks away freely from the tubers, pack them in lightly moistened peat moss or sand and keep them in a dry, well-ventilated place where the temperature is cool (50°-60°F).

'Ozark Beauty' is a long time favorite and is excellent for preserves or freezing. Large red berries with mouth-watering flavor. The absolute hardiest, most vigorous and one of the heaviest producing everbearing plants. You'll be feasting on big crops of these exceptionally delicious scarlet-red berries from early summer until the first frost. All winter you'll savor preserves and frozen desserts. This is an everbearing strawberry that produces berries that are semi-firm, red clear through, and full of flavor. High-yielding plants and self-pollinating.

To enjoy fresh, juicy strawberries from your own garden, begin by setting plants out as early as possible in the spring. Spade the soil deeply and set the plants in double or triple rows. Strawberries also do well planted in containers. Runners should be removed as well as the first flush of flowers so plants can direct energy into establishing a strong root system. For winter protection, cover plants with straw or leaves after the temperature has fallen to about 20° F. Remove covering in the spring once growth begins. The bed should be replaced after two years as quality and yield begin to decrease.
